DDT11 differential transformer displacement transmitter

Characteristics:

Non-contact measurement, long life. With DC single supply and built-in high performance signal demodulator. The measurement range is 1-500mm, high -resolution and good repetitiveness.

Profile:

DDT11 differential transformer displacement transmitter packages the oscillator, phase sensitive demodulator and differential transformer (LVDT) together. Only supply stable DC power supply can be get exporting DC voltage which is linear relationship with the displacement.

When the primary winding accesses the AC, because of the mutual inductance,  the two secondary windings will respectively produce EMF E2--1 and E2--2. It will get a curve which have linear function with the core displacement on the other pair of the same name end when the two secondary coil's same name end are connected.

When the core is in the middle of the two secondary coils, the two coils' EMF are equal, E2-1--E2-2=0, and the output voltage is zero which is called zero voltage or residual voltage ( the sensor's zero  voltage can't be zero because there are a variety of factors in the manufacturing process). When the core deviates the center, the two coils' mutual inductance will change, and the two secondary coils' EMF will not be equal, and there will have corresponding voltage be exported, itz size and phase are depending on the core displacement's size and direction, such as the right side of the curve shown.

DDT11 differential transformer displacement transmitter can transform the linear movement of the mechanical quantity into the changes of the electricity , it can be widely used for  various displacements' measuring or various physical quantities which can be converted to displacement, for example, the measurement of elongation, expansion, strain and pressure.
